In league last night, a person on the other team started using a Brunswick LT-48 in the second half of game 2 and all of game 3. He actually did pretty well with it. He had 4 strikes out of the last 5 frames in game 2. Then had the front 9 in game 3 before leaving a 9 pin the first ball in the 10th frame. It was like a step back in time and interesting to watch.

Was it an original LT-48 from the late 70s, or the Vintage LT-48 that came out in 2014?

THIS!
Had one for years, gave it away when I quit throwing 16’s.
House here won’t let you use a rubber ball anymore, it makes black streaks on their lanes is what they claim.

I still have my rubber LT-48 my dad gave me back around 1984-85. I dusted it off and had it re-drilled for my son a few years ago. We stunk up the pro-shop really good when we re-drilled it, lol. Rubber meets drill = burning tire smell. He is a typical modern cranker style, unlike how we bowled in the 80's, He couldn't get the ball half way down the lane without it making a left turn in the gutter.
Somebody recently used one and did well with it huh?
Now you got me thinking of dusting it off again. I'm in a big slump and despearate to get out of it, lol.

I have a Vintage LT-48 from 2014. I use it mostly in tournaments where there's light oil to dryish conditions.
Also have a LT-48 Gold that my father gave me. I haven't used that in forever!

This was an original LT-48. It was his father's ball. His father passed away last year. He had it re-drilled and uses it from time to time in remembrance of his father.
