Using a ball on iys "Non" ideal condition
« on: November 29, 2005, 10:23:39 AM »
I have used equipment thats "Ideal" condition is heavy oil and have found that I can tailor my game so that I can use such equipment on medium-dry conditions. This means that I am more able to use the same ball for most of my set and just adjust my physical game instead.

How many guys have found the same? Plus what equipment have you found works well on the opposite condition to its "Ideal"?
I would have got away with it if it was not for those pesky kids (Behind my lane) and those blasted 10 pins.

man i am just the opposite. i am a low rev slower player. sometimes i cannot move far enough into oil with aggressive ball to clear heads and then still have enough to hit hard. but when strong carry down is present i need my aggressive ball. i need to make right ball choice as my ability to change lines (mostly when i need to open up and swing to right) is my achilles heel. admitted i only have 2 to 3 balls in my possession at a time.

i dont feel like building an "arsenal" so I use my absolute inferno on everything. Its all about adjusting, i dont find it that hard to change release, speed, and style of play.
