Does anyone on this site have any knowledge concerning BTM magazine?  Are they going to be able to stay in business or will they, sadly, have to close their doors?

Last I had heard, a couple of weeks ago, they're done; the November issue is their last.

The publisher sent a notice saying BTM had ceased operations. Two of their columnists later commented this came as a "total surprise" to them.

At this point, with many unanswered questions, we can only speculate on BTM being resurrected.

BTM had some serious problems for a number of years, but content and value were certainly not among them.

Indeed, this is a sad loss for individual bowlers and the entire industry/sport.

Dang!

I can only speculate that it became difficult for the same reason that newspapers are struggling, and laying off employees.  Everything is available "immediately" online, etc. so their subscriptions have probably dwindled...  Why wait until next month's issue when you can find anything you want to know at your fingertips?

Look at it this way, no company ceases to do what they do when they are making money.

They also took a total beating on their tourney last spring.  With BJ held on sight, nobody went out to Grand Sierra for BTM
