BTM Subscription
« on: February 05, 2020, 02:49:00 PM »
Used the search function and did not find any recent reviews. Do any of you subscribe to BTM? Is it worth it?
Thanks

I've had it for several years, both hard copy as well as the current digital format and can honestly say it is well worth it.  Lots of useful information, as well as access to all of the older training articles!  Also, the Ball Comparison tool.....nothing like it!

Hope this helps!

Have both BJI paper and BTM digital and love both.  Ball reviews are best part imo.

I subscribed 2 years ago year, but didn't renew my subscription. It's not a bad publication, but the material didn't do a lot for me.

The articles seemed either too basic, or went into too much useless technical minutia. The ball reviews usually didn't give me the same insights that I get with BJI. I'm stating this from the viewpoint of a ball whore reading reviews of balls I already own, and in many cases scratched my head at their assessments. Ditto on their ball comparison tool. It missed the mark on many balls I owned that I compared.

Again, your experience may vary. It's certainly worth giving BTM a try.

Will second that BTM reviews can be confusing at times.  Still useful imo but their reviews seem to be very dependent on whatever random factory surface the ball they got has.  For example their review of balls finished with Brunswick compound tend be very low and all over the place.
