I've been asked to write another article for BTM...anything you readers are interested in?
Give me some ideas...
-
I think it would be interesting to see some of the chemistry involved in creating the coverstocks (or even cores).....maybe the simplified version for some of the less scientifically inclined posters.
Also (and I'll preface this as someone who will not throw plugged equipment), I've wondered to what extent plugging a ball (even ones where some core mass was removed) OR weight-hole has on overall motion.

I like both of those ideas too. I think the chemistry involved in the coverstocks might appeal to a larger crowd, but given the group of people you would expect to be reading the BTM, I don't think the other topic would be over anyone's heads.

I would like to see a lane pattern breakdown such as forward oil, buff, reverse oil, and the oil volumes and how it affects ball motion.
-
Explain how a lane machine works and how daily lane maintenance has changed since the days of stripping twice a week by hand as this is the least recognized element in the scoring pace increase.
-
Negative side weight vs positive side weight.
*ducks*

+1 on this one...
