« on: February 07, 2011, 06:02:23 AM »
Has anyone thrown each of these, both are strong reactives with the Alpha having a little higher rg.  Wondering if anyone has any comparisons, Im hearing lots of good things about the alphas midlane and power....

Haven't thrown the Alpha Max, but I can't say enough good  things about the Theory.  I won two senior tourneys with it last month.  I had some of the best carry on half pocket hits from deep inside that I ever ever gotten with a ball.  The key seems to be the low rg which Roto has been loathe to use in their previous attempts with the Cell series.

I have the Alpha-Max and one of my teammates has the Theory. You really can't go wrong with either one. Both seem to hold the mids well and are strong on the backend. The Alpha-Max seems to drive more tho the pin deck. Reason saying seems as we both have differing styles.

Bowling is like life. Sometimes you are the ball. Other times you are the pins.

I just got an alpha-max last week, and the ball is everything that Brunswick advertises.  I was surprised on how well it finished on the backend and drives through the pins.  It is another great ball from Brunswick, and you can't go wrong with a $50 rebate on it!
