Soles don't work

I recently got a pair of SST 5s from my brother, and there were some soles and heels that came with it, but one of the heels doesn't stick, is the velcro on newer heels and soles different from older velcro?

The velcro hasn't changed. I suspect that the bottom of the shoe (the other half of the velcro equation) is worn, so even a new sole or heel can't stick.

I see it quite a bit on those shoes over a few years' time, especially those worn by bowlers who changed soles often. If that's the case then a new pair of shoes should be on Santa's list, which may be part of the reason your brother got rid of them in the first place.

Well, It's only one heel that doesn't stick, all of the rest that I have are fine and stick, it's just one that doesn't stick at all, so I think it's the sole that may have gotten worn or something.

ive had some after much use get to where they wont stick as well, if its one that you really want to use its worth the 15 bucks to replace

Well, I've never used it, so I don't know if I like it or not.  I've only had the shoes and stuff for three days.

I think you may have a sole/ heel off the SST4 early models. I seem to remember having trouble with them sticking when I went to SST5's.....
