Cain re-elected, and Junior Gold coverage
« on: July 12, 2013, 10:19:28 AM »
. . or lack thereof.  Junior Gold qualifying started yesterday.  The scores from yesterday won't be posted until NEXT MONDAY.  There's quite a few kids from town down there, and I'd like to keep up with the tournament, but it will be nearly over before they even post the first round of the qualifying scores.  That sucks.  Anybody know where else I can go to find this information besides the site for the governing body of bowling?

In other news, Andrew Cain is re-elected.  I don't really know what to say about this.  I didn't notice any difference between him and the guy before him.  I don't see the USBC really doing anything besides churning out bland statements about serving their bowlers and growing the sport while they keep reducing what they actually do and provide to bowlers.  Rant off.

Yeah I just figured this out yesterday lol thanks . . and I'm not sure whether or not to feel like an idiot or not, because a bunch of the kids from town were posting scores on facebook like they were doing well . . must have been practice *facepalm*  I suppose I'd be glad to do well practicing down there too, but I'm not sure I'd put it on facebook like you're top of the field or something.

Does it really matter who heads USBC anymore? Does anyone even care who heads USBC, or care anything about USBC?

bowl.com, in the Junior Gold section.  It's set up like the Open Championships.

Lol apparently not, you're the only one that's even referenced it.
