Anybody know any information on this guy. I saw him today on a SR Pba event. He had a cool yet basic style.

Also, by the way, anyone know anything about Willie Willis.

I saw him on ESPNCL today and Durbin pronounced it as Knipple. And yes the Hair Peice, my dad calls it a wig and I call it a Tupee'.

Very funny and nice guy. Great old school bowler. Good teacher too if you get a chance to work with him.

I've run across Willy Willis a few times in Vegas (probably will see him again next week for the MegaBucks events).  He's a trooper.  Not a young guy, but can hang with the best of them.  Don't know too much about him personally, but he is an accomplished bowler.

I never heard of him until I got hold of a show from 1967 of him. Very smooth style with an armswing somewhat like Danny Wiseman's.

I have a question, where can I find pictures or film of Willis.
  Also, is he bald, no offense, but all the other black pro bowlers are bald or balding. Well thats also true for the white pros. I wonder why bowlers go bald.

Once Willie stopped bowling on tour fist fights between players dropped like 90%. He used to be the one who weighed all the balls on tour and from what I've heard did everything he could to start stuff with people. Great bowler though. I believe he works for Buddies Pro Shop in Connecticut.

Butch Soper is a cool little man. I like his helicopter throw or so Durbin calls it.

Not sure if he works for Buddies, but he does reside in Connecticut.  If I'm not mistaken he is bald, if not, he has a very short hair cut.  Can't remember.

I was doing a search on Bobby Knipple (my dad) and saw this.  I love seeing old stuff written about him.  By the way, that is his real hair which he still has today.  No balding what-so-ever.
