14lb on the PBA???

Okay, going through old gear today, I throw mostly 15 but I have a few 16lb balls. Anyway, I noticed my girlfriends XXXcel and thought about getting it re-punched since she no longer throws it, but it's a 14lb. I'm always looking to try something new or different, not to mention it would be freakin hilarious to tell my teammates I'm bowling with my girls ball (hilarious to them). Anyway, that brought me to my question, does anyone on the PBA throw a 14lb ball. I can't imagine you would carry as well, but you never know...

If you get a higher entry angle with a 14lbs than with a 15lbs you would have better carry.

Hey if Shafer does throw a 14lb, his 300 on TV would make anyone believe all you have to do is hit the pocket the right way........ Carry is luck anyway, just ask the guy who chucks and ducks that will beat you on any given league nite

i bowl 14lbs due to a back problem, and i carry more 10pins than ever now
