Calling bowlers in Canada...
« on: July 22, 2011, 09:06:11 AM »
OK, wide net here, but I'm going to be moving to the GTA soon.
So folks from the GTA, tell me where you bowl, the best leagues around, where the centers are?

Any help will be much appreciated.  Hopefully I'll get to meet some of you out there!

uhmm theres a few places, depending how far u willing to go

kennedy bowl, club 300, world bowl in the scarborough and markham area

in missisaugga (sp?) theres classic bowl. woodbridge, theres woodbridge bowl. then theres few more to the west like prime time bowling and so on, depends where u gonna be staying

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

I'll be to the northwest of Mississauga.
Where's the most competitive bowling?  I'll travel for good leagues.

Hi there welcome to the area I manage one of the bowling centres mentioned Kennedy Bowl in scarborough. The GTA has alot to offer in the area. For scratch bowling tournaments there is one every month september to may. for info on that go to www.playersbowlingtour.com. For the schedule and locations for the upcoming season. We offer two competitive leagues a triples league on wednesday night that usually pays well. And a new sponsored league on sunday morning with a guarenteed team payout of $6000. If you have any questions or want info on our centre or other centres and events you can email me or call me at the centre 416 579 6181 or tyler@kennedybowl.com. Look forward to talking with you have a nice day
