full roller possibly?
« on: March 14, 2004, 08:42:16 PM »
Last night while bowling I decided to experiment. Instead of hooking the ball I decided to just move to the outside and roll it straight just to see what would happen.

Using my Ebonite Primetime, I rolled the ball straight over the 7th board and the ball would hook on its own and hook right to the pocket. I only did this 6 or 7 times last night.

Is this what is referred to as a full roller?

no , a full roller describes the track which runs (on a right hander) to the left and below the middle finger, and above and to the right of the thumb, so in-between the fingers and thumb.....this is from the way the ball is released, like holding a suitcase.......
