So I'm skimming around the Brunswick site & this graphic pops up:

http://www.brunswickftp.com/Whats_new_window/Greg%20Hoppe/hex0.jpg

And I think... wait a tick...there's a Greg Hoppe who posts here on BR.com.
If that is indeed the same Greg Hoppe, then CONGRATULATIONS!!

Setting a city record in a doubles tournament & then coming out 3 weeks later to shoot his first 800 ever.

Nice work!

(If this isn't the same Greg Hoppe, sorry & if this thread is a redux, sorry again.)

i'd like to thank everyone for their kind words----it really means a lot. the last 8 months or so have been very trying to say the least. what with deaths in the family, moving to a new house, family illnesses, bad back, etc. it's amazing i was able to bowl well at all. i'd like to publicly thank several people who without their help i couldn't have achieved what i did this year.
first, my wife stephony, whose patience and understanding have really helped me---i love you. secondly, tom tomaras and rick benoit of brunswick helped me tremendously with the best in equipment and technical support. third, bill smith of ams bowling supply in north kansas city, missouri. bill runs THE best pro shop in the kansas city metro area---thanks for the help. and last but not least i'd like to thank randy fanning at olympia lanes in st. joseph, missouri. he was able to improve my "b" and "c" games greatly to be more competetive. this was my best year overall and it was possible due to hard work and the help of some great people.
