I know in the past I was told that one sign you were throwing a good ball was by hearing the "thumb pop" when you come out of the ball. Since so many things have changed over the years when I was taught this, is this still a valid rule of thumb? *ba-doom boom!*
Reason I ask is because I just got a new ball, and it always takes me some time to get the thumb the way I like it. Right now the hole is a little too snug, and I am getting no thumb pop like I do on most of my stuff. On the other hand, I know too loose a thumbhole opens up a new world of problems.
