How do you tape fingers?

I've been having some problems with my fingers cracking around the nails. I was wondering what was the best tape to use to tape them, and the right way to do it. I assume I'll have to go up 1 or 2 sizes on the inserts.

I wrap my index finger at the Finger tip up to just past the nail with tape, to protect the inside of the finger, I have blowen it open a few times hurts like hell.

Check with your doctor or dermatologist for some special nail cream. I found out during a visit to my dermatologist that there are a few special thick creams made just for nails that will help if not clear your cracking problem.

One more thought, I use a Turbo product called skin patch for the back of my thumb. It is very thin and very slick so if you only protecting the nail side where it meets the cuticle a piece the width of your nail can be cut and you probably wouldn't need to change your grips out?

The video was informative. I would have wrapped the tape around my fingers instead of up the front and down the back. I'll order some tape from buddies and give it a try.
