Twister pins (like em or hate em?)
« on: January 17, 2004, 06:23:40 AM »
Ok, out at my center we are just starting to get some twister pins in (actually we've had them for a year just haven't put them in yet) and i have heard some people say "I hate twister pins i can never carry on them blah blah blah!!!" then there's some people that really don't seem to care, then theres people like me that love twister pins, it seems like i carry a lot more crap shots with them.  i do leave a few more 10 pins but i get more light carries than ever.  So im just wondering, what does everyone else think about the new twister synthetic pins vs. the old classical wood pins?

A lot more money??

having 2 sets of wood a year plus 2 sets to rest the other ones vs. having 1 set of twisters for 3 years????  how can it cost more?
I had the cost savings over 3 years and the breakdown somewhere if I find it
I will post it.

I like bowling with them though, I have to line up to hit light or a bit high.
If you bury one it is 8 times out of 10 going to leave a back row pin.
