Take a look at your positioning of your feet in relationship to your swing. Before you even hit the ground with step two, your back swing is behind your hip starting to go up (52 second mark of the 2nd video). This is a sign of being real early with your timing. Early timing leads to muscling the ball thru the bottom of the swing to catch up. The more free your arm swing is thru the bottom of the shot into the lane, the better your carry percentage goes up.
If I was giving you a lesson, the thing I would really have you do is work on the timing of those first two steps. Step one should be very small almost a shoe length at the most with ZERO ball movement. Step two should be slightly larger as you are trying to build momentum going to the line. Push the ball outward or upward but not downward. The ball should still be above your waist at the end of this step.
A good skill drill is to practice the first two steps in front of a mirror. This way you can get immediate feedback. If you want to see some before and after, work in some side views also.
Give that a try and see if it starts to improve your consistency. Shoot me a PM and let me know how things work out.
