When I had a similar "dent", "divot", or "indentation" on my V2, I let it sit outside the backyard patio on a ball cup in the hot summer sun. The key is to have the affected side at the 6 o'clock position. The defect will slowly correct itself. I learned this method from Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, famous for his knowledge beyond the stars.
