Just a sidenote:
On my previous post I said change your angle to the pocket. I did not say increase your entry angle.
Sometimes the condition allows the light hit to carry for one guy, while it doesn't for the next guy. One does not even need extreme angles to hit "high flush". On any given day we will need more or less angle, but we still need to hit the pocket with some regularity. So, if you're not carrying with one particular angle, try a different one.
Therefore, I agree with avabob. It would also be unsafe to assume that "no deflection" is optimal, or the right handers would leave the 9 pin too often. Any other thoughts?
