carry issues again

i am having carry issues on patterns where i cannot get it outside 5 i leave 5 10s (right handed) 5 8s so many 8 10s.
does anyone know what is causing it?
any ideas?

easiest solutions

1. BECOME MORE ACCURATE.
2. MOVE YOUR DAMN FEET RIGHT!!!!!

Why does everyone in the world think they HAVE to have all that bump area to bowl??????

HE stated he ball was not finishing outside 5.. so why would his ball bite if he moves he feet over probably ONE board???? Then he will not be able to miss the arrow inside and have the ball slide to the pocket? tighten your line up, stop sprayin.

Oh and btw last time I heard carry issues they were talkin bout a single pin.

Clearly the 5-10 and the 5-8-10
ARE NOT CARRY ISSUES!!

They are not getting to the pocket issues......

I agree with Drrev. Get yourself on camera and take a look. You'd be surprised at the things you'll find yourself unconsciously doing.

The first thing I think of, if I'm leaving backrow pins is........surface. Especially if I know that I'm getting to the pocket. Just my .02.

Kinda gotta run with buzzhead, If you are having issues getting the 5-10 or 8-10 out carry as nothing to do with it. He needs to move right and go straighter at the pins to allow the ball to roll through them better. Don't even begin to tell me if he moves right a few boards it will jump through the face, If he is having a hard time getting the 5 and 8 out he has room to go right.

Ball could be burning up due to lack of oil, giving it little drive when it hits the pins. Usually a 5-10 for a righty is a combination of lots of deflection and a weak hit (the weak hit resulting from the drop in speed from high friction).

Try bowling a tighter line (i.e. if you can't get the ball to finish when it gets outside 5, don't let it get there...) or shell down and move a little right

I CANT GET ANY FURTHER RIGHT
i am going strait and the ball hits the pocket and if its a tiny bit light not like a half board adjustment less than that it leaves 8 10s

mainzer i think you've cracked it whenever i use my avalanche pearl box (high gloss polish) finnish the ball will carry quite well but with my attitude shift (2000 grit) box finnish it gives me these problems.
i am going to take some video of both so the guys on here can tell if it is the movement of both balls or if it is something else

You're ball (shift) is rolling out because there is not enough oil on the lanes for that ball. This will cause the ball to be DOA at the pocket leaving those pins you describe.

To me, you need a benchmark ball between these two. What you have will cover light oil and medium heavy to heavy oil. You need something you can throw to judge what ball to use.

I still cannot see you being in the POCKET leaving a 5-10. You can hit the 1-3 with the ball and you are not actually in the pocket. It may look like you are.

Also to the best of my knowledge there are 4 more boards outside of 5, and they are very playable with the right equipment and ACCURACY....
