Doc say this is reason for my wrist pain
I guess 40 years of bowling has taken its toll
wrist brace to keep it straight helps
trying shorter grip, deeper thumb.
Cortisone shot coming when the season is near
Doc talking about fusing the wrist in the future and that scary
Anyone else deal with this and what did/are you doing?
The obvious choice is don't use it, but that's off the table

Dave I have had 2 surgeries on my bowling wrist over the last few years. First was the standard carpel tunnel. It helped for a while. Then more pain started coming back. Went to a hand and wrist sports medicine Dr. and he operated again this time removing all the arthritis and scar tissue from the wrist then more importantly cut back 2 nerves on the top of my wrist. This has allowed me to regain most of the movement in my wrist and with no nerves there is no pain. I did also go to a robo wrist brace after the second surgery as a precaution. Find a sports medicine orthopedist and see what he has to say. They are more willing to try and keep you doing the sports we love. BTW I was this guys first bowler that he had to work on and since then he has also helped with knee pain I was having.
