CDB Does it Again
« on: April 12, 2009, 06:04:27 AM »
Carolyn came from almost being eliminated to the winner on the Women's Shootout today. Also, she set a TV record for most consecutive strikes (20).

Way to go, Carolyn!

Congrats to Carolyn!

Was that 20 consecutive strikes?

Wow! And to think she did it with "substandard" equipment...

Viva la Mexico de Brunswick.  LOL

That Wild Ride was working.  The Rattler that Nation was throwing looked good too.

What Wild Ride? She used an OI, Rattler, and a MaXXX Zone...

I thought the 10 pin was an evil ba***rd for choosing that time to stand up and fight.

edit - she did have a couple good mixers though, that was one working ball. Almost looked polished, probably Rough Buff

Looked like a Wild Ride to me.  Ah well.  It's still Brunswick.

I am biased because I know Woessner and she threw it better.  Jodi is awesome and she holds down a regular job besides bowling. If she only bowled it would be scary.

My personal opinion - ANYBODY but CDB.

I loved Rob Stone's comments - particularly the one about how there were caution cones around her after the first match - don't go within 10 feet of her or she'd spit on you.

That's the CDB I know.

I've met her and Del.  I'd never try to talk to her in between matches.  Especially after the first game she threw.  She's passionate and extremely competitive.

Jodi did bowl well in the showdown.  She won a PBA Regional last year.
I hope she bowls more of them this year.

But in the end it was CDB's win for this show.

They pretty much gave away the results on Saturday's collegiate telecast when they showed a few replays of CDB's gutter and her 20-bagger.

Can CDB utter more than one sentence without mentioning Brunswick? Can she be any more of a shill for the company?
