Title: Cell vs. Dimension
Post by: stormfanken on January 27, 2009, 10:41:12 AM
I am looking for a good heavy oil ball and I have been considering a Cell or a Dimension. I was just wondering if anyone had any feedback on these two balls or if one was considered better than the other. All feedback is appreciated. I had been using a Black Widow Bite and really loved that ball but it just seemed to lose its bite and its time to replace it.

I do not know much about the Dimension but the Cell is a great ball for oil. I have a Cell drilled 4x4 and this is my goto ball fo heavy oil. Also the Rogue( Cell replacement) is coming out in March.

The Cell and Dimension are very similar rolling balls in general from what I've see, basically just pick your poison -- symmetrical or asymmetrical.  They are roughly equal in strength.  I personally have both, the Dimension has a 5x5 pin over ring layout at 2000 abralon, the Cell has a 5.5x 4 pin under middle finger with a light polish.  This gives me two different looks, with the Cell being three or so boards weaker but with more backend angle thanks to the layout and polished surface.
