CG to Pin length
« on: May 01, 2005, 09:19:37 AM »
Not knowing top weight what can one learn by knowing the distance between the two? Also, I'm new at understanding 1st quality, 2nd quality, and bonanza, so as far as the specs go, what does one need to look for in buying a ball? Thanks for the info.

bonanza= columbia's version of blem

blems usually have half weights(ie 15.8 lb), short pins distances, really long pin distances, little or too much top weight, but could be bad coverstock color or even bad engraving.

2nds i dont know what they really mean, i consider them blems

to me:
x-out = blem = bonanza = 2nd

1st quality is the most desired/intended product..right weight, good pin lengths, good top weight.

pro pins by storm are just long pin distance balls.
