Chad has been appointed the permanent position.
First off, congratulations to Chad.
Now there are bowlers at the top on the paid side and on the elected side with Chad and Andrew Cain as President. Time will tell if a bowler has better vision for the organization than the businessmen that proceeded him.

I can't imagine it can get much worse with bowlers actually running things.

I can. Bowlers that have no idea what the casual league bowler (in other words 90% of USBC members) wants from the bowling experience aren't going to be any better than having non bowlers in place. There's a huge lack of balance and perspective at the top. Focusing on the sport is great, but when you destory your organization by alienating most of your membership, you really didn't help anything.

Chad has been and probably still a league bowler. When he was brand manager for Columbia, he bowled in the Friday night mixed league I bowled in. He and his wife Jennifer both bowled and are both very good bowlers. He knows what bowling in a league is about and I look for some very positive things in the future! Just my $.02, Bruce
