Interested in competing in a tournament on a lane pattern that was fully sport compliant when "used for the 2004 Intercollegiate Bowling Championships-Nationals at Riverlanes in Tulsa, OK"?  Check it out on the Northeast Regional board on this site. Tonights the night.  Greenway Bowl, Odenton, MD, 410-551-7100, start time 7:30 PM.

When was the last time they Resurfaced at Odenton?  Last time I was there the surface was terrible.  Anything less than a 3.5:1 is gonna be super tough on that surface.  With that said....I'll be there!

DP3,

Greenway Odenton installed 40 brand spanking
new AMF HP synthetic lanes last summer.  Also they
purchased a Kegel Kustodian this summer.  They are
running a tough conditions summer league on Wednesday
nights (its in its 4th season).  So there are many things
different about Greenway.  Thats one of the reasons
I'm running the tournament: to introduce folks to
the "new" Greenway and to give them an opportunity to
test their skills on a legitimate tough shot.  You can
score on it but you'll have to be very consistent.
and make quality shots.  Hope to see you and lots of
others there.  Come on out and bring your friends.

Wow, that sounds incredible.  Most likely I'll be bringing a group of 4(myself included).  I can't wait.

Hey it was great meeting you Bill.  Great shot you put out as well.  I had a ton of fun.  Very tough but fair shot, where else can you ahoot 180-143-178 and make your money back?  I loved it lol.

DJ, I too enjoyed meeting you.  You are a real gentleman and from what I could see a knowledgeable bowler with a good deal of talent and a terrific personality.  Wish you the best in all your endeavors, especially bowling.  Hopefully we can put together some more tournaments in the not too distant future.

Bill,  just to add to what DJ (DP3) said. It was a very fair shot, scorable, IF you it your mark.  Even more scorasble if you make your spares, and I missed way too many, how else do you shoot a 199 with a 6 bagger.  Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next one, (hopefully scratch.)

Hey Bill,
The shot was nice and it was nice to only have 4 bowlers to a pair.  For me the line was very tight but playable, my line was there but rarely did I hit it. I would have liked to try out my Oracle on that condition, I think that would be a real test for any heavy oiler. I bowled like crap, but I still had a good time and it was great practice, its not often that I get to see a sport shot, so I jumped at the chance to bowl on this one.  Thanks for inviting me and if you have it again please keep me posted. Oh and one more thing, the price, I loved it.  No it wasn't a huge prize fund, but it was great practice and something to do on a Fri. night.

See ya next time,

BMM
