I just picked one up from my local center's fire sale of miscellaneous stuff. I'll have my pro shop measure for it, but where is the CG stamped on this ball? The existing drill has the pin just right and above the grip center with the label upside down. I don't know if it was stamped upside down, or the driller saw some benefit of doing it that way.

I'm a sucker for relics plus I need more of a control ball for the medium sport patterns. Usually real old balls still hook and hit fine, but are more mellow than the new stuff.

Here's a good shot of what I remember my old Ultimate Weapon looking like. The CG was centered in the label. And I can't remember ever seeing the Wine UW with anything more than a 1-2" pin... mine was pin in.

Thanks, but unfortunately mine's the black (reactive) and there's no distinct mark for the CG (like the one below the "P" in your picture). Like you, I imagine it's a very short pin. I'm sure the shop can measure for it.

If I remember the oldies correctly, the actual PIN for the wine that is pictured is above and to the right of the logo. Cg was generally in the center of the logo, to the extent that they marked them in those days...remember, it WAS a different era.
