Champlain International Championship Tournament
« on: March 19, 2009, 11:11:42 AM »
Me and my teammates are considering going to this tournament in Champlain Vermont. Has anyone attended? Judging by the prize fund, it looks like a decent sized tournament.

What can we expect? Do a lot of people travel to this tournament from out of town? Any information you can pass along would be great. Thanks!

This is a huge tournament in a small house that is always packed.  Great weekend to get away with your friends, bowl, drink, unwind.  But it is very competitive.  I've been bowling it for the past 5 years and love it every time I go up.  Can't wait to go this May.

You will definitely enjoy it but act fast as spots fill up and there might not be anymore spots available since it starts this weekend.

Good luck.

I live near the lanes, literally 5 minutes.   If anyone goes email me, I'd love to meet up with some ballreviews.com people.   So if you are coming to south burlington/shelburne shoot me an email. It would be fun to talk.

thanks,
David

I'll be up there bowling the final weekend of April, I love this tournament and have always enjoyed the shot up there. I usually end up bowling the early squads on Saturday and then the late morning teams squad on Sunday. In my profile you'll see a link to the website for the team I go up with...
