To expand, "pro-CG" balls are also blems and have the CG far enough out of line with the pin-MB to be considered a second. Like pro-pin, they can be easy or hard to drill. Some, like if the CG is far to the right of the line, will work very well for lefties but be extremely hard to drill for a righty.
If you have a ball with a really, really long pin, more than 8", you can always turn the ball upside down, mark the spot 180* from the pin and use that "anti-pin" as the normal pin. The resulting anti-pin length is more like 5" or less.
