If YOU could name a series of balls....

Since apparently I'm not allowed to have fun in a thread where there is obviously no information yet, I decided to have fun in a separate thread. 

As I thought about it more (in the aforementioned thread), a "Grunge"/ 90's Rock series of balls would be rather fun.  Of course the Nirvana would be first.  Pearl Jam would have been a great and obvious follow-up.  I'm thinking a two-tone orange hybrid called the Smashing Pumpkin.  It could have been rounded out with an "Everclear" spare ball.  Licensing fees would be a bear though I suspect.

Feel free to add other possibilities, OR... if you could develop your own theme, where would you go and what would your names be?

(Disclaimer: this may not be as fun as I think it is in my head...and I acknowledge that)

I always thought a "Yin and Yang" serious of balls would have been cool. Yin is black, and represents darkness, night, the moon, and passiveness. Yang is white, and represents light, day, the sun, and aggressiveness.

Yang being a White Pearl, Yin a dull Black solid, then a 3rd, White/Black Hybrid. I had this idea a few years ago. Since then, the 400A has been released. Which is what I pictured for the Yang, but stronger. The Yin would be something similar to the Bad Intentions or Guru. The Hybrid could be called, Yin Yang and look similar to the Punch Out by Storm. I envisioned stronger symmetric cores for these, like the Centripetal from Storm with the R2X or R2S covers.

I have a friend who knows stuff and is close to being a staffer and he said that the grunge series is a good idea but also idiotic.  Definitely needs more info. 

Staying with the bands theme, maybe a heavy metal/hard rock series?  Could go with Three Finger Death Punch, Sevendust (left-handers favorite), and Pantera.

One could expand on the "Dream" theme of Columbia.......I suggest "Cranker's Dream", "Tweener's Dream", and "Stroker's Dream".

 I like.  Three-finger death punch....awesome.

College football has Bowl games and a four team playoff bracket which many feel should be an eight team bracket.  How about a Bowl series of balls?

* Orange Bowl (ball color is obvious)
* Fiesta Bowl (brightly multi-colored)
* Rose Bowl (several colors to choose from - red, yellow, pink, etc.)
* Soup Bowl (for very heavy oil)
* Toilet Bowl (a brown ball for trashed lanes)

Animal series.
Chihuahua for dry lanes - no bite
Heeler for medium lanes- need some bite and control
Doberman for heavy oil- lots of bite
Pug for your spares- around for when it's ugly
Poodle for the ladies of course

I love it!  Could add dachsund for long oil and bloodhound when you are having troubles finding a line (can sniff one out for you).
