Track 5 series are the best balls out in that mid/midlower price point! The 505T is pretty strong ball that handles oil very well and reads the lane great. One of the best balls Ive thrown ever! Very very smo

bdg1221,

While bowling ball selection can get quite technical, you seem to like the ball you have now, just not the results you are getting from it.

Virtually ANY reactive ball will give you added performance and carry over the old Udot (which was a good ball "back in the day").

I would tend to lean towards something with a real, one piece core instead of a simple pancake core (Scout), or a multiple piece core (Jazz, Power Groove, Tornado, Tropical Storm).

Balls that would fall into that category would be the Columbia Freeze, The Brunswick Slingshot, Storm Tropical Heat, Hammer Backlash, and quite a few others.

The solid, one piece cores, tend to give a more predictable, more reliable reacton from shot to shot, and seem to be less sensitive to slight mistakes than the more finicky pancake and multi-piece cores, at least to me.
