I will be shipping balls that I don't use to friends out of state. These ball are being donated and I want to save a little on shipping. Right now, I pay under $14 through fedex to ship to Washington state (mostly) for one ball.
These balls will be given to my buddy, or to people who may want to start bowling. Though, some of these balls have less than 12 games on them, it's better off with a newbie than in my storage.
So yeah, just wondered how to save on shipping. THanks

FedEx is the cheapest I've found. More reliable too.

That's actually a pretty good rate. Probably the only way to get cheaper is someone with a higher volume FedEx account, and it sounds like the rate your getting is through a pretty high volume account already.

I doubt that you could much better than $14.00. I just shipped a ball and paid more than $14.00. Thanks for the tip of FedEx.

Agreed on fedex. I use them for every thing. Send 4 at a time its cheaper

If you sign up for an account and use the account to ship you'll get a discount. I usually save $1-2 compared to the site's estimate.

Thats quite reasonable.. The last few Ive shipped have been in the $20 to $28 range.... I started looking at us postal again... Their rates are more reasonable, but still higher than the $14 range...

Fedex is the way to go. Cheapest I have found. Sometimes as cheap as 12 bucks depending on where you are shipping to. I have shipped 4 at a time for around 35 bucks

The post office was great but somehow they have missed these wonderful orbs to ship as a standard item anymore.
Price has gone from an average of like 16 to local states to over $28. They are so clueless! I'm sure volume on these items down over 90%.

USPS has higher rates, actually increased their rates and cut some services...
