So a thought just occurred to me. According to league rules, a person that quits the league is not eligible for prizes such as scratch game, series, etc. What are your thoughts on if a bowler has to switch hands due to injury? As the person this applies to and as someone that has a say in running the league, I see both sides of the discussion.
In favor of losing the award: a new average is established, therefore it is the same as a new person bowling as the numbers play out
In favor of keeping the award: it is still the same person paying for the spot on the team. Circumstances dictate being unable to finish the season with that hand, but the person is still finishing the league.
Please give your honest input because I am torn. Also it isn't about the money. It's like $10 lol
