It really depends on the conditions.  A 300 on a difficult lane condition is an impressive accomplishment.  A hole in one on a 200+ yard hole is an amazing shot.

Imagine a par three where it is completely funnel like, with ever slope leaning towards the hole. Wouldnt this be considered "blocking" a par three, and therefore, making it much easier to shoot a hole in one?

A 3oo game is MUCH easy to get than a hole in one IMO. Last stat I saw said that your chances of getting a hole in one was around 1 in 36,000.(my wife has one, but not me!lol) Pretty sure that even with my 160 avg. I could bowl a 300 with 36,000 trys!<BG>
