Now all you need, is a building, and lanes to go with it.

you would not want the lanes from that place. it was an absolute dump.

the carpet in that place must have been the original. it was warn through to the concrete below it.

the surface on synthetic overlays on the heads looked like golf ball. I am not exagerating either.

It looked like a musem inside. the vending machines were circa 1960 at the oldest.

TenpinsPro might remember that place

isn't that Miami bowl?  The large "80" on the front of the building makes me believe that, however I could be wrong.

Archer and Pulaski. Miami Bowl owned by Marzano, who also owned clearing lanes.

That'd be Miami Bowl.  I bowled high school there, and I hated it.  Although it was nice practice for manual scoring since he was too cheap to get computers.

Gee thanks Omega(haha)..what happened guys?  I used to bowl at Miami too as a kid, hung out at the shop quite a bit too.  Under the sign was the door that led to the video games, pool room and pro shop...I think.  Wasn't it like 52 lanes on one side and 28 more on the other side?  Man, now all the places I grew up at are gone or almost...

Dan, when did you bowl high school there?  I bowled for Whtney Young back in...oh boy,...77-78?
