What else do you call it???
I got my 800 rings last night.
Then start out the first game 269 /X/XXXXXXXX9 269.
Next game /XXXXXXXXXXX 290.
559 for 2.
Of course, everyone is commenting that I'm greedy- wanting more than one 800 in a year, etc, etc...
Last game.
XX big 4 I don't remember the last part of the game, but left a 4-7-10, and whiffed a SOLID 10 for 184. Sigh.
Nothing really wrong with a 743, but geez - did I choke or what???

Any tips on how to get through?

I pretty much concur with Sawbones. You did it before so I would think a lot of the choke factor is gone.

As you well know it is difficult to keep the carry that good for 3 straight games. Even with the start you had you still needed 241 the last game, no easy feat. Iâ€™ve seen several better starts and probably only 20% make it. Many of them had shot multiple 800â€™s before so I doubt they really â€œchokedâ€ it off.

dont feel bad. we had a guy recently go 290-279-131=700

it's not worth beating yourself up over. just keep pluggin away, you'll get another chance at it.

I witnessed the ultimate choke this past monday night. Guy on the lanes next to mine shoots a 300 his first game playing the same line all game with a Triton Elite. Second game starts and the BALL WENT IN THE BAG!! Now, thats the first mistake, he tried to use a Raging Red after that. All in all, he shot 619 for the night with a 300 game. Thats pathetic!!
