I just read the thread about changing hand positions vs. changing balls and it got me wondering. Is there a real good place to find out what different hand positions will do. I know what works for me sometimes, though it might not work for others, nor will it be the correct way to make adjustments. Anyone here have some good ways to change hand positions, or use little "hand tricks" like Healey uses according to Del Ballard?
I know if I want to make sure my ball can come back from a deep break point, I will get my hand more on the side, and less up the back, but i usually lose some speed when I do this.
I think there are a lot of people on this board who know a lot of stuff about making subtle hand changes. I really don't like changing balls because then I feel like I'm starting over. I'm much more interested in becoming a more versitile bowler with 1 or 2 balls than 9. I don't have the space in my car for that many balls anyway.
What are the changes you make Mumzie? Your thread got me thinking...
