Choosing a Pros Approach
« on: July 16, 2005, 04:32:38 PM »
If you could pick a pro, and have the power to create a carbon copy of their approach/style who would it be and why?

Personally I would pick a hybrid between Amleto Monacelli and Tommy Jones my two favorite power players

Disintegration by the Cure is the greatest album ever!

Tommy Jones is God!

Five little known songs that will change the way you look at music:
<Maybe Someday - The Cure
<Dreaming of Me - Depeche Mode
<Loser - Beck
<Blackhole Sun - Soundgarden
<Stand inside your love - The Smashing Pumpkins

Okay, if we can combine people, it would have to be...Tommy Jones for is amazingness as a power player, Chris Barnes for his finess(sp), and Walter Ray Williams Junior because he is "Dead Eye". No beating that.

FYI approach and style are 2 different things.
which are you discussing?

Rick Steelsmith and Dave Soutar have two of the finest approaches ever.

Doug Kent has one of the greatest styles (release flexibility, coordination and timing) ever.
