I have an Inferno, X-Factor Reloaded(which I am going to take down to 600-800 grit or so), and an X-Factor Deuce. I have pretty much all conditions covered except very dry lanes and flooded lanes(the Reloaded and Deuce are both viable here though). The Inferno is usable if I keep it polished but I want something that is made for a drier condition. I have heard good things about the V2 line. Anyone have any suggestion on something I should try? Thanks...

I'll testify to the Sling Blade too. It's the one just ahead of the Sonic X Solid in my lineup. When the Sling Blade gets to be too much is when it's time for the Sonic X.

I'll probably end up going with a barbed wire or dry heat if I can get ahold of one for a good price.

I would have to say that the V2 dry os the ball for you. The problem that amny people face with the v2 Dry is that they place these exotic drills on it and then it and it becomes wishy washy. Since that ball flares very little, the best drilling for it is over the label. I have shot 4 800's and 3 300's with mine and that has been on lanes that were dry to medium oily.

I like my Sonic X when they get dry. It gets more skid and when it hits the backend it comes up with alot of power behind it. Its my goto ball.

Beware the Dry Heat. This is not a dry lane ball. That puppy hooks. The ball is poorly named. It should be called I hook too much on dry Heat.

I use a Storm Blue Hot Flame or a Visionary Slate Blue Gargoyle myself.

Other possibilities: V2 Dry, Barbed Wire, Monster Slay-R, Sonic-X...
