I hope Barnes doesn't win a single title.  I am in agreement with most others I know that have met the man, he is arrogant, egotistical, and self centered.

I like to see WRW, Wiseman, Bohn, and Duke.  I can tolerate PDW in small doses.

I live in the DFW area and have met Chris and bowled with him in several tournaments and he has always been very nice to me. I guess you met him on a bad day.

I predict he will win several stops this year. He is bowling very well right now.

I will join the Fagan hit parade and say he will make a show and win his first title. He dropped down to 15lbs and he's taking his meds and I believe this will help him stay healthy.
I also think PDW, Chris Barnes, Duke, WRW and Bohn  will keep rolling along.

Brunswick staffers will win big this year. The new Big-B equipment rocks. Barnes will win at least 3 with a major. POY award. PBIII will also do well from the left side. WRW is getting old. He will have an off year - probably only 3 titles with a major , and a close second to Barnes in the $$ & points.
Last prediction? Someone besides Couch will win the TOC.

I alway said I want to see Chris Barnes in a Vortex II or in a Storm ball but since that INFERNO came out it just put him up another level. Fagan went to 15#? oh my gosh look out!!!!

chris barnes has already won one title so far this year( oronamin/c japan cup )and looks to have a GREAT year. he's using the best equipment in the business and that can't hurt. i've met him and his wife lynda and can't wait to see them again at the greater kansas city classic.

Predicting that a guy who's never been on a show will win a title is wishful thinking.  No matter how much talent you have, a lot of things have to fall into place for you to win on the show.  Just ask Patrick Healey, Jr.

I predict that Tommy Jones will break through this year; he has a ton of talent, and he's due.  He's been to the show several times, and has come close.  This is the year he gets his first title.

Barnes may or may not be cocky and arrogant; don't know, never met the man.  What I do know is that he probably has the most effective release in the game, and a tremendous amount of pure talent.  Win or lose, he'll be near the top for years to come.

Saw him last year in Philadelphia. My kids got autographs and followed him all over Sproul Lanes. I would say the guy has incredible patience. Every kid I saw that approached him had a positive experience. He smiled, talked to them, shook their hands, gave them an autograph...good guy!

I think that this is Parker's comeback year. Last year was horrid for him which is a shame. Can't see enough class acts like him on TV. I'm normally really biased against leftys as a right hander myself, but Parker's style is just too good to ignore

Parker will win at least twice, WRW will only win 2 (off year), Barnes will make 5 or 6 shows, but only win 1, PDW will knock somebody out on TV (possibly himself), Guys like Fagan and Tommy Jones will get their first (and possibly second) wins, Rudy Rev's will make a show, Couch will make the show in the ToC, but wont win, an Amateur will win the ABC Masters (wont be me though unless I get a lot of breaks), somebody will make the 7-10 on tv, at least 2 people will shoot 290+, there will be 2 roll-offs, Pedersen will make a show, and last but not least....there will be at least one lefty on every telecast!

Barnes is a total dick in person. I hate to say it, but it is true. He reminds me of a bobble head, cause all he knows to do in person is nod his head. My predictions are on a P-D-W year.

My vote is that Patrick Allen will at least get 2 titles this year.

My god I hope not. I bowled with him in a pro-am a couple years back, and he is the LEAST personable bowler I've ever met.

I call PDW as bowler of the year.

I also predict that someone will pull a me and leave the 7-8 flush on TV.

Surprise....Brad Angelo will appear on a show or two
Jones and Fagan will also have some appearances.
A sleeper that may well appear could be 2000 ROY Joe Ciccone.

As far as the "regs"...Bohn is overdue, and could have a big year, and let's not forget Mfr. Delutz coming off a strong year.

Could be a fantastic season.

When he is not competing on tour Chris is an alright guy (His wife is super nice). I don’t have a lot in common but we get along ok.

Most of the problems I’m aware of come from when he is competing on the tour. He has too many antics that bother other bowlers in the squad and I believe that is a source of a lot of the anger towards him. I have seen him slap the approach so hard after a shot that bowlers 8 lanes down on the approach would all turn and look his way.

That aside, he is a true professional bowler in that he loves to bowl and compete. When not on the national tour he bowls a lot of regionals as well as other local tournaments. That is the biggest reason he moved from Wichita Kansas to Dallas Texas is so that he was closer to more regional sites. He works on his game all the time and deserves what he has achieved.

I expect him to continue to cash and make a lot of match play appearances. I also expect him to make several shows. However I don’t expect him to win more than 2 titles this year (and he already has 1).

If the shot(s) doesn’t change I expect to see many of the same faces. Walter Ray, Duke, PDW, Wiseman, Barnes will appear on shows on a regular basis. Kretzer, Tommy Jones, Brad Angelo could break thru. The lefties will continue to have a hard time.
