Title: Chris Barnes Grip Sunday
Post by: Brickguy221 on December 17, 2003, 09:21:06 AM
In the T o C Sunday, it looked Chris Barnes had his grip drilled with the middle finger longer than the ring finger. Was it, or did it just look that way because of the way he held his ball in stance just before begining his approach?

Tenpinitis, what is the purpose of that type grip? Wouldn't he be getting almost all of his lift off the middle finger? Does it help to stay behing the ball or come around the ball or what? I am curious as to what that grip does.
