Chris Barnes injured?
« on: December 09, 2012, 12:12:52 PM »
Is it me, or was Chris Barnes possibly injured when today's show was taped?  Only reason I ask is that he is wearing a Columbia 300 elbow sleeve and then another sleeve on his forearm.

Probably just more marketing. That's all the PBA does anymore anyway.

I wear a basketball shooter's sleeve like that to help with my tendinitis. Same concept, but with different graphics.

If you're a point guard or a running back or the like, ok.

But for bowling ?  I mean, come on, really?  You've got to be kidding.  But inevitably, SOME will buy it, lets be honest, for look.  Most importantly the marketing departments know it.  What's next, headbands with a stability meter to measure head movement during approach.  WAIT!  There's a market for it!!!  Ask Barnes to wear it and it may sell..to league hacks ("Mr. 195s").....am I onto my million dollar invention?

Hey! If wanna put on my point guard sleeve with my A.C. Green, Kareem Adul-Jabar goggles, with my headband and my gemini jersey on THS then thats my business. Lol! You might have an idea, you'd better patent it.

If you're using your bicep and forearm to throw a bowling ball to the point where you need help....you're doing it wrong.

1. These guys bowl hundreds of games in a week. Not surprising if they wear a little extra something to help them stay warm/loose

2. Nothing wrong with wearing one as a fashion item. Years ago nobody wore glasses as a fashion accessory. Now everyone does it. Same with guys and jewelry. Fashion evolving.

Very true!!  No ones disputing its your right and your business.  I'd venture to say the everyone would think you would look like a tool (if an honest poll were taken) EXCEPT the tools wearing one.  Ask "Bluetooth guy" with the flashing lights etc...

Again, and I can't state this enough, if you feel like wearing it, by all means you should.

I like my headband idea.  If someone invents one I'll know where the idea came from.
