Ball getting chewed up
« on: February 28, 2005, 01:29:43 PM »
Hey Guys! I've been bowling for a long time
but in my league a couple nights ago, my friends
new ball was stuck in the back and came back all
chewed up.  Where abouts in the pit does this happen?
I see in spinning in the pit but are there loose
nails or screws in there?  If so do these screws
come out of the pin setter?  I've never been in the
back of a lane before.  Thanks for the info.

Light hits wont do any good if the pins are all
in the pit.

What kind of house is it, the machines are different. I've only been around AMFs.

I just had this happen with one of my best ball. If a pin is blocking the return the ball get stuck on the belt and leave a wicked belt burn.
The house pro shop should fix it for him no charge.
