Anyone here from Richmond VA area?

I am just wondering as I will be there in October and want to know if there any places that are especially cool to bowl. I love old houses with above ground ball returns and such.

I used to live in the Richmond area about 13 years ago and I don't remember any alleys with the above ground ball returns. Just the same old run of the mill bowling alleys. There was one I remember that was in the Norfolk area but I cant remember the name of the place but it was like I walked back in the 1960's when I walked in the place.

i live in richmond. i don't think there are any above ground ball returns. there are several different places to bowl. i like amf shrader, it's completely smoke-free. there are several people on ballreviews from this area. i moved here about 5 years ago and met a few people that post on here.

if you ever make it down to elizabeth city north carolina....they have above ground ball returns....at least they did the last time i bowled there....5 years ago
