I have a mega idol.  The first thing they told us at the seminar was to make sure the on the idol and mega idol that the pin not be blow the fingers and that the mb be towards the track or stacked and for regular bowlers and for the full roller to drill a normal full roler with the mb on the right of fingers.  So i set it up the pin right and just about 1/8" from being parallell with the fingers and the mb towards my track. and left of thumb.   3 inch pin 3.65oz of top to start with high rev bowler around 18 speed  the ball has 2.525 rg and diff of .058

ball to me reacts a lot like my darkside but about 3 boards stronger.  it cleans the heads very clean  and pics up really strong in the midlane  and then the rounding of the assymetric core reall does smooth it out and when it pics up it moves a ton and hits harder than anything i have thrown.    

i tried the ball on three different lines

1. from 13-7 clean through heads and a lot of holdand smooths out great to find some dry and makes a left turn that never starts.  shot 185

2. took 5 boards left  and played from 18 - 8 didnt turn quite as much to get a little less length and it picks up bout 5 feet earlier and smooths out the reaction even more and not as vilont reaction at the end.  shot 245 with 2 10 pins and 1 9 pin.  

3.  went 10 boards left and was playing 25 - 15 and using as much hand as last line and was finding some carrydown whcih would cause it to skid a little more and would still pick up soon enough to make a move it would come up a litle light and still splash the pins around with some power shot 268 with 2 20 pins  

over all the ball loos great being purple and black  nd it has a lot of overall hook and a hard but yet smooth backend reaction.  all three lines were thrown were shot on a medium shot with some decent carrydown
