Circle Bowling Balls-New Company
« on: March 12, 2004, 08:42:14 PM »
All I can say is WOW!  This is Chip Zielke's new company, balls are produced by Storm.  Nice article in March 2004 page 100 on the company.  Two regional players throwing on 3rd shift and then fresh oil yesterday trying them out.  The HERO was actually out hooking the Fear Factor and the IDOL is a great match for when the HERO goes back in the bag.  Both balls seemed to do whatever was asked of them and just seemed to snap 10's from all angles(both righty's). I drilled the IDOL and was amazed at how it rev's up and hits and I don't have a lot of hand.  I think this is only the beginning and look forward to see what is coming next.  Balls are on Bowler Paradise and are just getting into the shops.

Bones, I agree, way to many but sometimes the little guys come up with great equipment because they can't get by on name alone.  Example, drilled a new Sonic boom a couple of weeks ago and went 779 first night out, past thursday went 756 ending with a 297 (6-7-10 nose shot).  Not bad for an OLD man!!! Owe and you can check my honor scores at ABC to see that I am factual, as I think some people aren't always truthful about their scores. I enjoy your comments and many forum questions.  Keep them coming.  This little company is about 20 minutes away from where I live.

I agree, pictures don't really do them justice, they look better in real life although I don't really care what a ball looks like or if it has different color inserts, just as long as it scores. LOL.

Joe, you can go to their webside www.circleathletics.com and email them, they can tell you what pro-shop near you has them but a number of the internet sites have them already listed.  Chech Bowler Paradise.  Good Bowling.
