Class Acts in WNY
« on: July 27, 2003, 11:33:11 AM »
I wanted to publicly thank the following for the fantastic junior clinic they put on in Western New York this past weekend.
Brad Angelo, Tom Baker, Dave Guindon, Fran Bax and Steve Lenegan.
These professionals are all fantastic at coaching the juniors, and have offered future mini clinics as well as follow-ups. Nice to see people of their stature work with the youth.
Also to Mr. Westfield (Erik & Cody's father) for organizing and hosting the 2 day clinic, a big thank you.
I can only hope that other areas have such programs available.

I bowled with Fran Bax in the ABCs. The combo of a nicer guy and a better bowler would be very hard to find.

Fran is indeed a fantastic and unique individual, besides a terrific bowler. Past PBA member, 48 300's, 30 some 800's (all sanctioned), and just recently inducted into NY State Bowling Hall Of Fame. His sense of humor and ability to make everyone feel special are well know in this area besides that uncanny ability to find some shot on the lanes. I am looking forward to crossing lanes with him tomorrow nite.
