recently polished one of my bowling balls and I`m getting a great reaction from it.My question is how often do you do it to maintain what the ball has done since the first polish

Generally every 30 - 60 games, but it needs to be touched up every once in a while, depending on how bad the lanes "chews" up the cover. You and your eyebal are the best judge!

ro0kie,
You may purchase your own polish and apply it by hand if you don't have a spinner.  Just apply a little bit of polish to a towel and rub it all over the ball.  Some polishes will form a haze on the surface of the ball after being applied and left for a few minutes.  At that point, take a dry towel and wipe off the haze and you'll be good to go.
