Not sure of the name of it, but what ever happened to that ball that was RESIN with a Urethane strip in it. I can remember when it came out and everyone was running to buy it in the area I lived in and then no one seemed to like it.

The might have been the name of it. I just remember after they came out, the lanes seems to be covered with the Blue(ish) ball with a gold strip. But what ever happened to that technology? Was it just a flash in the pan and never really caught on or was it just a junk ball?

Yeah, I realize that Urethane is not current technology, but did it seem to drop off the face of the earth???

The Helix and the Double Helix.  The idea was that you would get through the heads using the urethane and then the ball would flare off of the urethane and on to the resin in the midlane and backend.  They were very good balls when the heads were fried.
But they were expensive to make and buy and they had to be made in right-hand and left-hand versions.
