What works the best to get the belt/scuff marks off of the ball. I have clean and dull, though it works it takes a long time to remove them. What works better?

Neo tac hook it ( which is now DV8 Dam Good Hook cleaner) by far the best. Some will argue that lane masters cleaner is just as good but hook it cleans the s**t out of the ball. I have a solid green pyramid pathogen ball that had belt marks, scuff marks and oil rings and hook it took it all off. Pretty impressive

I have used both MonsterTac and Storm's Reacta Foam and have had great luck with both of them.

Not even in the same ballpark, monster tac is like Windex compared to hook it.

I'd really have to see that to believe it. Both of the products I have used have taken off belt marks with ease and both leave my balls tacky and like new. I'm not doubting you in the least, but I can't imagine anything else getting them cleaner than the two I listed. I might have to give it a try though. Thanks!

Time is your enemy for those really tough ones that look like someone applied shoe sole adhesive to your ball. If you can clean it off immediately, then even Powerhouse cleaner will take it off with a little effort. If you wait until the next time you bowl, it might take a jack hammer.

+1 on the Dam good hook cleaner... This stuff works so well, not only does it instantly take off belt marks and dirt, etc, it ALSO keeps the surface grit on the ball for me anyway (no matter what grit it is)
If I could get a couple cases of it, I WOULD IN A HEARTBEAT. some of the best stuff on the market and very UNDERRATED.

DV8's Damn Good Hook IS Hook-It.
Be careful how you use it; try to use gloves when you do use it or just don't get it on your hands!!

Neo-tac is DV8 now? do they still make the Liquid Sandpaper? that was one of my favorites for a long while.

Neo-Tac is NOT DV8.
For a time Neo-Tac was supplying their cleaning and modifying compounds to Brunswick. Not sure how DV8 got to market Neo-Tac's cleaners under their name. When they came out, I emailed DV8 to ask what these were (Damn Good hook and Damn Good Ball cleaner). She told me Hook is Hook-It, Cleaner is Neo-Tac's Nitro.

Charlest, I keep my hands protected at all times, very strong chemicals.

I've used rubbing alcohol with a towel and it works well. Usually when the lanes get really dry we start seeing these marks regularly. Not had the issue in some time thinking back on it.

Clean N Dull works well on belt marks - as long as you have a spinner.
On the lanes removal = Powerhouse Adrenaline Wipes, not for every week use IMO, to pricey for that. $9.99 on Amazon

Those original Adrenaline wipes were one of the best products I have used(the ones in the foil zip top package). The product had two downsides, one really bad. If you used it on a spinner, it could burst into flames. And it really stunk, like really nasty old socks soaked in kerosene.
I'm not near as big a fan of the ones in the canister, they work okay. At least they aren't a fire hazard and they smell a lot better.
All-in-all, I would like to have the original ones back.

The vise ball cleaner or vise ball cleaner wipes are very good for removing belt marks. It doesn't take much elbow grease to remove belt marks, and the vise cleaning products bring back the tackiness to the ball.
-
The Vise Ball Cleaner does work very well. But, I'm not a fan of their wipes. The Vise wipes are pretty much the same as the ones from Storm, Genesis, Motiv, etc. and do little toward removing anything from the ball in my experience. However, they are easy to keep in the bag without a lot of mess, so better than nothing I guess.
Just an opinion from a user without "skin" in the game.
